Welcome to the house, barn and 12 acres of land for sale at Berlin Center, Ohio. If you stumbled across this “secret” page, it was created for folks interested in purchasing the property. Feel free to explore whether you are “in the market” or not.
Use the gallery below to explore. Beneath the gallery you will find detailed information about the house, barn, utilities, etc. You will also find some additional links to other photographs and stories about the property.
In summary …
The house was built in 1993, is 1732 square feet, with 3 bedrooms and a finished “extra room” in the basement. There are wood floors in the kitchen and dining room, granite counter tops, new carpet in the living room, master bedroom and bath, oak woodwork throughout, a fireplace, and much more.
There is a wrap around porch on three sides of the house with a patio on the fourth side, an attached two car garage with ceiling and wall board and a stairwell to the basement. The furnace is a two year old geothermal unit with remarkable efficiency. There is a full water system including a water softener, a new submersible well pump, central vacuum, and two to three year old appliances.
The barn is spectacular with entire trees holding it up inside. It has five stalls, five tie stalls, a slate roof and, has been updated with aluminum, 120 and 220 electric service and, good lighting.
The land includes 12 acres. It has been planted with apple trees, weeping cherry, ginko, weeping spruce, oak and a variety of other trees and shrubs selected for their texture, summer foliage and fall color. Trails separate an outer “buffer zone,” a middle area for wildlife cover and, an inner area of annually mowed meadow and potential hayfield. There is a Purple Martin colony on the property and, as shown in the photographs, the overall setting is wonderful.

“THE ONE HUNDRED DAYS PROJECT” is a work in progress with the goal of finding 100 interesting, natural events on the 12 acres, on one hundred different days this year. It was inspired by the quote and question, “Is there more to be learned from climbing one hundred different mountains or, by climbing the same mountain one hundred times?”

Wow, you were digging deep into the website. The house sold a few years ago. I didn’t realize that the active link to the description was still there. I will fix that. Thanks for your interest anyway. Good luck with your search.
How much are you asking??
I stopped by your property a few days ago and talked with you about the sale. It’s a very interesting location, house and barn.
I’d like to hear what happens to it.
